Well, I never.

Some rapscallions on this page have been accusing I, Sir Queesly, of being nothing more than a sock-puppet manipulated by the grubby hands of an American. These snide comments are pure fabrication, made up by the sort of low-minded scuffians who'd sooner spit in the streets like a common sailor than curtsey before our dear Queen.

Furthermore, tea should never be served with crumpets. Anyone with a distinquishing palette would know this, of course, but sadly one must be aware that today's youth has no such skill. The heat and doughy texture of a crumpet simply will overpower a good Earl Grey; tea and scones is of course the traditional pairing: crumpets would perhaps be served better alone, or with some simply fruit juice if you must insist on ruining a good decent British meal.
